Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless and suffering pets through humane education, adoptions and foster care. We will work with community resources including local veterinarians and Mesa County Animal services towards achieving our mission.
Save-A-Pet Thrift Store is well stocked for shopping, and has cats and kittens for adoption. Donations of goods to sell are accepted. Cats and kittens are available for adoption at PetSmart and Petco. Dogs are available for adoption some weekends at PetSmart.

The Colorado House Rabbit Society is licensed by the National House Rabbit Society. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers. There are no paid positions. Every penny of all donations goes to helping the rabbits. We rescue and rehabilitate homeless, abandoned house rabbits. Affectionate, litter-trained, spayed or neutered rabbits are then available for adoption. We also provide education about rabbits.

Project PUPS Certificates are issued to pet owners to assist with the cost of spaying ($35) or neutering ($25) any cat, dog, rabbit or potbellied pig. Applications and details can be found on their website or you may fill one at the facility. It is best to apply in advance of when you plan to schedule the surgery as time from application to issue can be a month or more. The certificates are accepted by most local veterinarians. This program is funded by donations.
